Steven Wayne Murphy

Visitation after 6 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, (9th & Cedar Streets), Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services will be held in the chapel, at 12 p.m. (noon) Friday, December 17, 2010. Rev. Calvin Buhler will officiate. Burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Poplar Bluff. Steven Wayne Murphy passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at his home in Mayfield, Ky. at the age of 43. Mr. Murphy was born Feb. 21, 1967 at Poplar Bluff, Mo. He attended Pottsville Church of Christ in Pottsville, Ky. and was a Procurement Buyer Clerk for Pilgrims Pride Chicken processing plant. He enjoyed reading, photography, spending time with family and watching his nephews play sports. He is survived by his father, Gerald Murphy of Mayfield Ky., and mother, Norma Reed, Poplar Bluff. Also surviving, his twin sister, Deborah Russom and her fiance', Doug Endsley of St. Peters, Mo.,and sister Michelle Chapman; brothers Gene Russom and wife Gina, Poplar Bluff, Devin Russom and wife Rhonda, Poplar Bluff, Bud Murphy and wife Kimberlee, Mayfield, Ky., and James Colter; two nieces and 12 nephews, whom he loved very much, Travis Russom, Austin, Dustin, Christina, Wyatt, Cody, Tyler, Dalton, and Hunter Russom, Keanu, Keelan and Korbin, Britni and Trendle Murphy. He is alson survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
