Ted McComb. 77, died the morning of Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at his Neelyville home. Mr. McComb was a farmer. he was born June 18, 1939, in McComb, Mississippi, and had formerly lived in Marked Tree, Arkansas before moving to Butler County in 1962. He married Florence Browlee May 10, 1969, in Corning, Arkansas. She died July 24, 2015. His hobbies were gardening, fishing, hunting and playing dominoes. He was a member of the Bethal Lodge # 37 and Agape House of Worship, both in Neelyville,. Survivors are his children, Teddy McComb Jr. and wife, Cindy of Neelyville, Cliff McComb of Seattle, Washington, Pat Wallace of Neelyville, Donnell McC0mb and wife Lorretta of Neelyville, Katina Howell and husband, Gerald of Wichita, Kansas, Troy McComb and wife Gina of Scott Air Force Base , Belleville, Illinois, Kristina Gibson and husband Linden of Columbia, Missouri and Lennell Wilson and husband Kevin of Columbia, Missouri. 35 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. Sisters; Joyce Williams, Novella McComb and Linda Edwards all of Neelyville; brother Willie L. McComb of Neelyville; two aunts, Katherine Joplin and Carrie McComb. He was preceded in death by his parents; Alvin McComb and Lucille Morgan McComb; one son, Edward McComb, five sisters, Ida Mae McComb, Myrtle Smith, Mary McComb, Christine Turner and Mae Alice McComb; three brother, L.K. McComb, Wayne McComb, and Alvin "Book" McComb Jr. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Saturday December 31, 2016, at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville. The funeral will start at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel Saturday, with Pastor Donnell McComb officiating. Interment will be in the Neelyville Cemetery.
