Teddy Dowd

Teddy Dowd, 61, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Dowd was born June 11, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, to parents Theodore and Dorothy (Boyers) Dowd. He was a member of the Eagles #3730. A glass cutter and installer by trade, he enjoyed car racing, golfing, coaching baseball and loved music He is survived by his children, Jason Dowd and wife, Melissa and Steve Buchanan and wife, Nancey; his mother, Dorothy Dowd; two sisters, Debbie Conover and husband, Pete, and Sandi Cowan; one brother, Larry Dowd and wife, Diane; and grandchildren, Drew, Mackenzie and Samantha Dowd, and Dexter and Amanda Moore. He is preceded in death by his father, Theodore Dowd. Visitation will be 12-1:30 p.m., Sunday Oct. 21, 2012, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo., followed by the funeral service at 1:30 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Doug Osborn officiating. Burial will be in Black Creek Cemetery.
