Thomas Eugene "Tom" Penrod

Thomas Eugene Penrod,60, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, son of William Gerald Penrod and Lula Mae Grimes Penrod, Passed away at his residence in on March 14,2011. He was born October 28, 1950 in Neelyville, Missouri. On may 24, 1969 in Neelyville, Missouri he was married to Druzilla Booker. She survives. Also surviving are his son, Thomas Daniel Penrod and wife Shannon of Villa Ridge, Mo. and one daughter, Stacey Penrod Barker and husband Vernon of Neelyville, Missouri,. His Mother Lula Mae Grimes Penrod. three sisters, Carolyn Kellems of Poplar bluff, Mo., Sandra Wiess and husband John of Alton, Mo., and Mary Sells and husband Rick of Poplar Bluff, Mo. one brother, William G. Penrod and wife Faye of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Seven Grandchildren, Jacob Penrod, Lauren Penrod, Ethan Penrod, Joel Penrod, Maegan Penrod and Erin Penrod and Gage Allen Barker. He was preceded in death by his father as well as one grandson Nathaniel Elias Penrod. He was a truck driver and had lived in St,Louis for 18 years before moving back to this area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar and singing. He was of the Non Denominational church. He had served in the United States Army. Visitation will be Friday March 18, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Missouri with a graveside service on Saturday March 19, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Kinsey Cemetery, with full military rites.
