Thurma Griffith

Thurma Lee Griffith, 54 of Poplar Bluff departed this life on March 12, 2019 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff. She was born on March 26, 1964 to the late Roy and Bessie (Anderson) Rippee. She was a homemaker and loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed watching the Price Is Right, and was of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by her children Fanci Griffith, Charles Greer, a stepson Roman Griffith by her grandchildren, Aschah Smith, Chelsea Greer, Sarah Smith. Three brothers Charlie Rippee, Bobby Rippee, Billy Rippee, and by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son BJ Greer, by six sisters, Lillie Mae Rippee, Janice Lee Rippee, Sarah TJ Rippee, Edith Paulene Keller, Linda Lou Keller, Cathy Green, by two brothers David Rippee, J.R. Rippee.

The family is planning a memorial service on Thursday March 21, 2019 at Holy Cross Episcopal Church on Main street at 3 pm.
