Tommy Gale Carson

Tommy Gale Carson, 57, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Carson was born August 14, 1958 in Rockford, Ill. He worked as a certified nurse's aide in a nursing home. He enjoyed treasure hunting, going to flea markets and going to church. He was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle Church in Poplar Bluff. He is survived by his mother, Mary Carson; his siblings, Cora Louise Shanks and husband, Cliff, Marsha De Lawrence, Bobby Carson and wife, Sandy. also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mr. Carson was preceded in death by his father, Rev. James Carson; a brother, Jimmy Carson, and a sister, Nancy Deanna Carson. Visitation will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Poplar Bluff, followed by the funeral service at 1p.m., with Rev. Stephen Burns officiating. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery.
