Tommy Shackleford

Tommy Shackleford, 61, of Poplar Bluff,  passed away on August 14, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. Tommy was born on January 3, 1959 to the late Walter and Pauline Louise (Shamblin) Shackleford  in St. Louis, Missouri.  He married Betty Jo Shackleford but she preceded him in death. Tommy attended Highland Drive Church of Christ.   He worked for the Poplar Bluff Junior High for 31 years.  He enjoyed working the Mules football and basketball games.  He was an avid Three Rivers College basketball fan as well as St. Louis Cardinal baseball and Kentucky State basketball.  He also enjoyed helping people and he enjoyed working the parades with his brother-in-law, Hardy Billington. Tommy is survived by his fiance, Pam Kenser, daughters  Sue Allen and Sarah Johnson; grandchild Chris Johnson, grandchild Evee Allen; sister Anetta Kinworthy; sister Delores McCrum; brother Benny Shhackleford; sister Rose Young; sister Dianne Billington and husband Hardy. Tommy was preceded in death by wife, Betty Jo Shackleford; parents and a sister; Charlotte Phillips. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home chapel with Archie Parrish officiating. Burial will take place at Berrong Cemetery in Zalma, MO THE FUNERAL HOME NOW HAS A FACE COVERING AND TEMPRATURE CHECK UPON ENTRANCE POLICY.
