Troy Ray Henson Jr., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Monday October 17, 2011 at the St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was 64 years of age, born November 29, 1946 at Newport, Arkansas. He was a former resident of Little Rock, Arkansas and had moved to Butler County 31 years ago. On March 3, 1980 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri he was married to Mary Frances Lawler. She survives. He is also survived by One Son, Richard Todd Henson and wife Stephanie (Hayden and Carson), Four Daughters; Sharon Lynn Garner and husband Michael (Natalie and Taylor), Amy Caprice Duffer and husband Joe (Addison and Chloe), Donna Leann Freeman (Holly) and Barbie Marie McElrath and husband Jeff (Audrey). He is also survived by his Mother, Mildred Jean Jones Henson as will as two brothers, Charles Henry Henson and wife Pat and Ricky Don Henson and wife Debbie. Adopted Children; Peggy and Randy Myers, Eric and Amanda Crofford (McKenzie and Cole), Tony and Carlotta Eakins (Ethan and Michaela), and Peggy Henson, Garlands Wife. He was preceded in death by One Daughter, Kathy Taylor Ross. He is also survived grandchildren (Leslie, Tory, and Monica) and one great granddaughter( Kathrine Ross ). He is preceded in death by his father, Troy Ray Henson Sr and one brother Garland Gene Henson. He was project manager for Libla and He was owner of Little Black Enterprises. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and he enjoyed his grandchildren. He graduated with honors from Three Rivers Community college and served in the Vietnam war era in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Fellowship Southern Baptist Church where he served as building and grounds chairman. Visitation for Mr. Henson will start Thursday October 20, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Mo. The funeral will be Friday October 21, 2011 in the Fellowship Southern Baptist Church starting at 10:00 a.m. with the burial in the Lone Hill Cemetery with full military rites. Rev. Bill Garrett will officiate with Rev. Tim Freeman assisting.
