Vada Sue Epley

Vada Sue Epley, 80, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away January 5, 2013 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Epley was born November 17, 1932 at Neelyville, Mo., to the late Eugene Gimlin and Ora (Pulliam) Gimlin. She had been a Butler County resident since 2004, but was formerly of Hannibal, Mo. She loved to read, play Bingo and her dogs, and dearly loved her great-nephew, Chase. On February 9, 1965, she married Lloyd C. Epley at Alton, Mo. He preceded her in death in December 2000. She is also preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Hannibal, Mo. with Ron Fowler officiating.
