Verlin McGee

Verlin Laverle McGee, 71, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on March 17, 2026 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Verlin was born on February 15, 1955 to Edward and Shirley Mae (Horn) McGee in Naylor, Missouri.

Verlin was a Specialist in the United States Army from 1985-1988. He enjoyed his social gatherings with his loved ones.

Verlin is survived by his son; Scott McGee, grandchildren; Scott McGee II, Courtney L. McGee, siblings; Virginia McGee, Davy McGee, Beverly Bell, Ron McGee, Karen Jack, Edward McGee and Diane Lynn McGee.

Verlin was preceded in death by son; Brian Dale McGee, and his parents; Edward and Shirley McGee.

There will be no visitation or services. But a celebration of life location and date will be announced.
