Verna Lerane Vicki Haggard

Verna Lerane (Vicki) Haggard, 87, passed away January 20, 2017 in the NHC Healthcare Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. She was born August 6, 1929 at Fairdealing, Missouri to the late Willis Mitchell and Edna Arivett. On November 20, 1984 at Ellington, Missouri she married Eugene O'Neil Haggard. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2003. She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Hemming and husband James of O'Fallon, Missouri; as well as two sisters, Ferrill Mitchell of St. Louis Missouri and Genon Tinsley and husband Harold of Sarasota, Florida; one grandson, Steven James Hemming and wife Amy as well as great grandchildren, Alec Steven Hemming and James Musgrave husband of Rebecca Ann (Hemming) Musgrave; one sister-in-law, Joan Mitchell and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, as well as one granddaughter, Rebecca Ann (Hemming) Musgrave, and brother, L.Dea Mitchell. Visitation will be January 23, 2017 starting at 11:00 am with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel Inc. of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery near Fairdealing with Donnie Fowler officiating.
