Virgil Floyd Colvin Jr.

Virgil Floyd Colvin Jr., 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 03, 2021 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri. Virgil was born on August 22, 1946 to Virgil and Sylvia (May) Colvin in Topeka, Kansas.  He married Judy Means on May 7, 1966, in Kansas. Virgil enjoyed  car shows; especially the one at Hefner Furniture each year and attending all of his grandchildren sporting events. He retired from Kmart after 30 plus years of service. Virgil is survived by spouse, Judy Colvin, daughter, Amy Helm (Chris), son, Daniel Colvin (Michelle), grandchildren, Ethan and Grace Helm, and Tymber Colvin, brother, Hern Colvin (Terry), sister, Sheila Prater. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8th, 2021 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brad Helm officiating. Burial will take place at Puxico City Cemetery.
