Wanda Pauline Sappington

Wanda Pauline Sappington of Naylor, Mo. passed away Wednesday July 11, 2012 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, at the age of 67. Mrs. Sappington was born September 18, 1944 at Lawrence Michigan to parents Bill Dave Woods and Flora ( Hancock) Woods. Both preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and loved forming fan clubs for singers. She was a member of the Palace of Praise Church in Poplar Bluff. On November 4, 1982 she was married to David Sappington at Doniphan, Mo. He survives. Also surviving are her children, Carla Lynn Drysdale, daughter of Carl Burns, of Harviell, Paul Anthony Sappington and Flora Maxine Sappington both of Naylor; grandsons, Mark Allen Drysdale and Darin Mitchell Drysdale. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Eddie Woods. Visitation for Mrs. Sappington will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday July 14, 2012 at the Palace of Praise Church on Hershel Bess Blvd. followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. at the church. Burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hwy. 21 North, near Doniphan, Mo., with Pastor Randy West officiating.
