Will Sellers

Will Sellers, 78, of Poplar Bluff and formerly of Ellsinore, went to his Heavenly home Monday, September 27, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center; with his loving wife Carol at his side. Services are pending at this time. Will Sellers, 78, of Poplar Bluff and formerly of Ellsinore went to his Heavenly home Monday, September 27, 2010 with his loving wife Carol at his side. Mr. Sellers was born August 15, 1932 to the late John Sellers and Reppard Caudell in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Sellers was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. Until his health failed him, he served as Sunday school teacher, cook, and seemed to have his own 'altar ministry' praying with many there. Mr. Sellers retired from his own food service business and then devoted many hours to the United Gospel Rescue Mission, where he impacted many lives. Mr. Sellers enjoyed cooking, leather work and reading. On December 24, 1981 he married his long time love, Carol Redmond, in Ellsinore, MO and she survives. Also surviving are five children: Karen Sue Sellers Chicago, Illinois; Nathan Willard Sellers Jr. Chicago, Illinois; John Kevin Sellers Chicago, Illinois; Rebecca Lynn Schwuchow Trevor, Wisconsin; and Daniel Albert Sellers Champlin, Minn He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great- grandchild A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Temple Baptist Church 1813 Barron Road Poplar Bluff.
