Wilmer "Bub" Stroup

Wilmer "Bub" Stroup, 62, of Puxico, Mo., passed away, October 19, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 18, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to the late William Stroup and Freda Lois Wiseman Stroup. On March 30 1973 at Kinder, Missouri he was married to Juanita Hart. She survives. Also surviving his children, Melinda Adams and husband David and Pam Glasener and husband Josh all of Puxico, Mo.; two grandchildren, Cody and Levi Wilhelm; three step grandchildren, Bryan, Cody Gene and Austin Adams, as well as step-great- grandchildren, Xander, Paige, Ember and Jade Adams; three sisters, Wilda Morrison and husband Tommy of Zalma, Mo., Wilma Hale and husband Edward of Advance, Mo., and Shelia Hale and husband Paul of Bloomsdale, Missouri. He was a life long resident of the area and was a member of the Faith Apostolic Church of Sturdivant, Mo. He enjoyed restoring cars, collecting gas and oil signs, and tractors. Visitation will be October 22, 2016 starting at 11:00 a.m. in the Faith Apostolic Church at Sturdivant, Mo., with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery with Rev. Dale Holman officiating.
