Yvonne Davis

Yvonne Davis, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Davis was born May 15, 1946 in Poplar Bluff. On March 5, 1976 she married Haywood Davis in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death July 29, 2007. A homemaker, she enjoyed crochet, fishing, listening to music, puzzles, cooking, baking, trivia games and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Davis is survived by six children, Anthony B. White of Poplar Bluff, Leisa Adams (Sammy) also of Poplar Bluff, Steven Lee (Terri), Sheila Pollard (Tommie) of St. Louis, Zachary Warren and Bryce Davis all of Poplar Bluff; 3 sisters, Vilena Ligon, Marlene Jones and Stephanie Jordan, all of Ypsilanti, Michigan; 2 brothers, Joe Jones (Jewel) and Corey Jones (Jennifer) all of Poplar Bluff; 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She has a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins she enjoyed being around as well. Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Jones and a sister, Darlene Cooper. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m., with Bishop Ron Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
