Zella Mae Harrison

Zella Mae Harrison, 79, of Fairdealing, Missouri passed away June 29, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 17, 1933 in Wynn, Arkansas to the late Virgil Emmet Henson and Bonnie Darnell Henson. On October 15, 1945 She was married to William {Billy) Harrison in the First Baptist Church at Bay Arkansas. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1989. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Harrison of Potts Camp, Mississippi, Fran Atwell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Peggy Harrison of Fairdealing, Missouri, Penny Gardner of Irvington, Alabama and Calvin Harrison of Fairdealing. Her sisters, Shelby Hasting of Neelyville, Missouri, Marie Carter of Truman, Arkansas and Mary Ellen Princeton, Missouri and Wanda Joe St. Cin of Rodgers, Arkansas. Brothers, Emmett Dean Henson of Poyner, Missouri. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two children; Earl Harrison and Patsy Marie Harrison. Two brothers, William Joe Henson an Garland Henson as well as two sisters, Betty Fortney and Maxine Leroux. Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Independence Missionary Baptist church of Neelyville, Missouri. She enjoyed working in flowers, gardening and worked on farm and quilting. visitation will be Tuesday July 2, 2013 10:00 a.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri with the funeral starting at 11:00 a.m.. Brother Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Coffeeville, Mississippi Wednesday July 3, 2013.
