Zella Scott

Zella Scott ,81 of Poplar Bluff, passed away May 31, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be 6-8PM Thurs June 2, 2011 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff. Funeral will be at 2PM Friday June 3 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brian Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Scott was born Jan. 16, 1930 to the late Dewey Schaefer and Bertha Carnahan Schaefer, in Ellsinore, MO She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing. Mrs. Scott worked for over 16 years for the foster grandparent program. On July 26, 1951 she married Roy Sherman Scott who has preceaded her in death. She is survived by two daughters; Karen Scott-Lemmons of Dudley and Lora Gladden of Poplar Bluff; three sisters; Elode Morris and Leroy of Poplar Bluff; Anna Manns (Virgil) of Poplar Bluff, and Rosena (Sis) Eudaley (Leon) of Ellsinore. Three grandchildren; Andrea Midkiff (Kelby), Dustin Gladden (Misty) and Sierra Cannady (Daniel); and nine great-grandchildren; Jack and Ben Midkiff; Andy and Amber Miles; Alex and Emma Ervin; Dylan Gladden; Bailey and Brooklyn Cannady. She was preceaded in death by two brothers; Roy Schaefer and James Schaefer and one sister Alma Weatherford (James)
