Ada Lorene Boyd, 67, of Neelyville died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Boyd was born May 4, 1946, in Coon Island, Mo., to the late John Miller and Lillian Hampton Miller. She was a lifelong resident of Butler County and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed flowers and fishing and loved her children.
On May 11, 1964, she married Leonard Austin Boyd. He preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2012.
Survivors include four sons, Roger Boyd of Farmington, Mo., John Boyd of Neelyville, Gaylon Boyd (Shelley) of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and James Boyd (Sandy) of Independence, Iowa. One daughter, Lillian Boyd of Neelyville; three sisters, Bonnie Christian of Lake of the Ozarks, and Linda Wrinkles and Sandy Miller, both of Houston, Texas; two brothers, George Miller of Houston and Donald Miller of Neelyville; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Horn, and three brothers, William, Dennis, and Edward Lee Miller.
