Allen V. Moore Jr.

Allen V. Moore Jr. 76, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri was ushered into heaven on Saturday September 16, 2023.
Allen was born on May 3, 1947, in Poplar Bluff, to Allen V. Moore, Sr. and Merle M. (Stucker) Moore. 
Allen served in the Army and spent 13 months on the DMZ in Korea.  He held positions with the Poplar Bluff Fire Dept. as Captain, Mobile Oil Corp. and Porter DeWitt.  He enjoyed listening to his scanners and was an avid Train enthusiast of which he shared with his youngest grandson, Samuel.  He enjoyed time with all four of his precious grandchildren.
Allen is survived by his spouse, Donna (Jameson) Moore, one daughter, Angela Moore, one son, Steven Allen Moore and 4 grandchildren, Elijah, John and Samuel Moore all of Poplar Bluff and Trevor Thurman Moore of Poplar Bluff.  One sister, Juanita Stucker and one brother Claude Wayne Moore of Poplar Bluff.  
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Allen V. Moore Sr., his mother Merle M. Moore and one brother Johnny L. Moore. 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19,2023, from 10am-11am at Temple Baptist Church 1813 Barron Rd. Poplar Bluff, MO
Funeral services will begin at 11am at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will take place at 1PM at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO
