Visitation for Ms. Daves will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Graveside funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in Memorial Garden with Bishop Kent Miller officiating.
Alma Lee Daves, 76, of Poplar Bluff passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at the Westwood Hillis Healthcare.
Mrs. Daves was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Big Island, Mo. to parents Claude Ray Urich and Mrytie Starks Urich. She was a lifetime Butler County resident and attended church at the Palace of Praise. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
On Feb. 14, 1963, she married Jerry Deloy Daves in East St. Louis, Ill. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2006.
Survivors include two children, Jerry Lee Daves and wife, Kathie, and Kim Prenzel and husband, Kenny, all of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Pat Crawford and husband, Ed, of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Mikki Daves, Justin Lee Daves and Whitney Stewart; a great-grandchild, Shelby Leigh Byrum; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Ray Urich and Mrytie Starks Urich; and two brothers, Floyd Ray Urich and Austin Urich.
