Alma Poteet

Alma Nadolia Poteet, 78, of Biggers, Ar. passed away on Dec. 24, 2015.

Mrs. Poteet was born on Sept. 29, 1937 in Charleston, Mo. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, circle word puzzles and reading her Bible. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

On April 12, 1956, She married William Poteet. He preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2015.

She is survived by her children, Helen Poteet, Patsy Ann Poteet, Billy Poteet, and Earl Poteet, all of Biggers, Ar., Rose Bryant of Corning, Ar., and Rebecca Murray of Datto, Ar.; sister, Carolyn Rush of Festus, Mo.; brother, Jack McWilliams, of Rockford, Il.; 9 grandchildren, Angela, Ashley, Sonja, Dakota, Britney, Nora, Daniel, Dillion and John; and 6 great-grandchildren, Josephine, Sybell, Tommy, Amelia, Oliver, and Jamie.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by, one daughter, Wanda Lee Fritchley; parents, Calvin McWilliams and Roslan (Duff) McWilliams; as well as one sister, Zelma Staggs.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at from 12:00 - 1:00 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Tim Burgess officiating. Burial will take place at the Johnston Cemetery in Reyno, Ar.
