Barbara Pauline (Dorris) Braden

Barbara Pauline Braden 70, of Poplar Bluff Mo. went home to be with her Lord on Friday June 18th 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Braden was born on June 1st, 1951 in Poplar Bluff to Willie and Madine Dorris. Mrs. Braden was definitely someone you would never forget once she came into your life. Her greatest joy was her family and her precious grandchildren especially Catherine and Lance Braden (they were her world). She also loved camping, outdoors and lord knows collecting things. On May 31, 1969 she married the love of her life Thomas Ray Braden Jr. in Poplar Bluff at the Brookerson Family Farm. They enjoyed 52 plus wonderful years together. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her children; Calvin (Vicky) Braden of Poplar Bluff , Kristy (Lawrence) Morgan of FL. , Amanda Braden and fiance Greg Faughn of Poplar Bluff, and her baby boy Johnny Ray Braden of Poplar Bluff Mo. One daughter in-law Tonya Braden of Poplar Bluff , one sister Brenda (Butch) Dorris of Grandin Mo. One brother Ernie (Regina) Dorris of Poplar Bluff, one sister in-law Mary Dorris, and step-mom Ann Dorris of Poplar Bluff. She also has 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren 2 great-great grandchildren 8 four legged fur grand babies and many nieces ,nephews family and friends. Mrs. Braden was preceded in death by her parents , Willie and Madine Dorris, 1 daughter Virginia Braden, 1 son Eric Braden, 2 brothers Billy Dorris, Gerald Murphy, 2 sisters; Louise Weaver, Lucille Willcut, a daughter-in-law Joni Braden. Mrs. Braden will be reuniting with her son Eric who she missed dearly. Visitation will be from 12 til 1:45 pm on Monday June 21, 2020 at Fowler Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar Street in Poplar Bluff , A graveside service will follow at 2pm in the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating.
