Barbara A. Reel-Tinsley, 73, of Harviell, Mo., passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at her home.
She was born July 18, 1942 in Butler County to the late Robert Christopher Reel and Mary Dorthy (Hayes) Reel.
She had previously lived in Cahokia/Dupo, Ill. Mrs. Tinsley was of the Pentecostal faith. She worked as the kitchen manager at the Poplar Bluff School system. She enjoyed cooking, deep sea fishing, camping, church, family and flowers.
On June 18, 1960 she married Harold Tinsley in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Other survivors include her daughters, Sue Tinsley-Vaughn (James), and Karla L. Parker (Bobby); one sister, Vicki Arnold (Mike); a sister-in-law, Doris Reel; 12 grandchildren, Amy Buechel, Joey Tinsley, Mary Beth Griffin, Nicole Vetter (Brett), Jesse Parson, Jarrett Griffin (Jenn), Billy Griffin, Aliesha Gipson (Lacy), Dakota Reel, Ashley Bloomner (Jared), Amanda Parker, and Harold Parker; as well as 14 great-grandchildren, Blake, Paige, Caleb, Abram, Cainen , Lily, Tory, Gage, Odin, Malachi, Makayla, Micayla, Brianna, Aria and Sophia. She was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Gene Reel; a sister, Betty Jackson; and a brother, Bobby Jo Reel.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Bob Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamtown Cemetery.
