Claudetta Littrell Obituary


Claudetta Irene Littrell, 66, of Doniphan passed away on Jan. 21, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.

Mrs. Littrell was born on Aug. 30, 1950 in Doniphan, Mo. She was retired from S.M.T.S where she worked as a transportation driver for 24 years. She loved reading, being outdoors, camping, church, having friends and family over and anything to do with family. She was a member of the West Point Pentecostal Church where over the years, was the Sunday School Secretary, and previous youth leader, joy group leader and cook for W.P.C.A.

On March 14, 1969, Claudetta married Elmer Littrell Sr. in Doniphan, Mo. He Survives.

Also surviving are her children, Elmer Littrell Jr. and wife Diane, Linette Neeley and husband Brian; mother, Christine Foster; sister, Romona Larson and husband James; brothers, Dalton March and wife Deborah, Lynn March and wife Becky; and sis-in-law, Becky Courtney; Grandchildren, Paige, Robbie, Taylor, Wyatt, Alex, Skilar, Caleb, Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Sutton and Braxton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sam March; step-dad, Kenny Foster; one sister, Roseann March; and one brother, Alden March.

Visitation will take place on Tues. Jan. 24, 2017 from 5-8p.m. at the West Point Pentecostal Church. Funeral will be on Wed., Jan. 25, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at the church with Bro. Chuck Carr and Bro. Charles Carr officiating. Burial will be held at the Amity Cemetery in Doniphan, Mo.

Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
