Donald Gene Anderson

Donald Gene Anderson, 70, of, MO passed away on September 21, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Donald was born on June 8, 1953, to Jesse and Ruth Linnell (Brown) Anderson in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  He married Mary Ellen (Burkhart) on December 23, 1972.
Donald enjoyed fishing and hunting, watching westerns and Cardinals baseball.  He was also and avid reader. 
Donald is survived by his wife Mary Anderson, 2 sons Daniel Anderson (Stacey), Michael Anderson, and sister Janet Gilmore, along with Grandchildren Cara Jolly (Brandon), John Ziegler, (Cierra Lott), Colten Anderson, Bailey Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Madison Anderson, Caleb Anderson, (Alexa), Chace Anderson (McKyla), Caden Anderson (Vanessa), Casyn Anderson, Preslee Anderson, great grandchildren; Addilynn Jolly, Brayden Jolly, Kylie Saltzman, Whitley Ziegler and nephew Kirk Weatherford (Karla). 
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Jesse O'Gene Anderson and Mother Ruth Linnell (Brown) Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 26,2023, from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will begin at noon in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be at Sparkman Cemetery in Butler County.
