Donald Stubbs, 63, of Wappapello, Mo., passed away at his residence February 18, 2015.
Mr. Stubbs was born April 29, 1951 in West Plains, Mo., to the late Charles Stubbs and Deloris Collins-Stubbs. He was of the Baptist faith. He is retired from the United States Army and had served in Vietnam.
His hobbies were his family, fishing, coon hunting, watching westerns and bull riding on television.
He married Doris Arnold-Stubbs on April 29, 2005 in Piggott, AR. She survives.
Also surviving are children, Christina Wells and husband, Kevin, Donald Evans and wife, Stephanie , Pamela Green and husband, Tommy and Matthew Evans and wife, Sherry; 5 sisters, Lou Barnett, Paula Sally, Annabell Usher, Nancy Odell, Molly Sappington; 7 brothers, Danny, Doyle, Paul, Dwayne, Floyd, Boyd, and Mike Stubbs; 11 grandchildren, one of which, a special granddaughter in his heart, Katelyn Jean Evans; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stubbs was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a sister, Bonnie Kay Stubbs.
Visitation will be at 10a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Brother Calvin "Bub" Ham officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held in the Qulin Cemetery.
