Ernest Garner

Ernest  Garner, 69, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 30, 2020 at his home.
Ernest was born on November 13, 1950 to the late Ernest and Anna Mae (Sykes) Childs in Cichago, Illinois.  
Ernest enjoyed Dominoes, fishing, playing cards, especially spades. 
Ernest is survived by spouse, Virgie Morton BFF ; children Mary Manning, Anquanette Garner, Shalla Garner, LaQuisha Winston, Dominique Garner, Destiny Garner, grandchildren Betty Evans, Crystal Chaney, Lannique Chaney, Lamm Manning, Maryn Goudy, Joshlyn Gainwell,  Joshua Forbes, a host of great-grandchildren; sister Delorise Johnson (John), brother Sherman Dancy, brother Leonard Dancy, sister Linda Dancy, sister Brenda Clegg (Ron), sister Fannie Pulliam and Queen Langford and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ernest was preceded in death by wife Betty Garner, his parents, sister Paulette Childs Garner, brothers Edward Hatchett and Joseph Dancy.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later time.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."  Surely He will save you from the fowler's the deadly pestilence.  He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampant.
