Esther (Blackmon) Mcclure

Esther Lee McClure, 60, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on September 11, 2021 at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Esther was born on July 20, 1961 to Louis Arrington and Sarah Blackmon  in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Esther was an intercessor prayer warrior, a minister, loved time spent with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed cleaning and decorating. Esther is survived by children; Carlos Blackmon and wife Tina, Derek Blackmon, Michael Blackmon, Kiwanna Blackmon and Greg Thomas, Aijalon Blackmon, Terrill Blackmon and Amber Dale Koongzurp, Ashley Shanell Thomas; 27 grandchildren, siblings; Marilyn Ann Brown, Naomi Jean Blackmon, Howard Wayne Blackmon, Chris Blackmon, Sarah Marie Blackmon, Alvert Lee Blackmon and Obie James Blackmon; special friends; Leah Hubbard, Diane Thomas, Joe Johnson and Cherry Johns. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, son; Cleartha Davis Blackmon and sister; Shirley Harden Visitation will be held on Friday September 24,2021  from 9AM to 10AM  at Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church in Poplar Bluff. The homegoing celebration will begin at 10AM with Bishop Ron Webb officiating.  Burial will follow in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
