Gary Phillips

Gary Phillips, 74, of Poplar Bluff passed away January 24, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Gary was born September 6, 1946 in St. Joseph, MO to the late Earl and Goldie (Sager) Phillips.

Gary was a member of the Methodist church in Stanberry, MO, was a lifetime member of the VFW, served in the United States Army during Vietnam, and his favorite hobbies were catfishing on the River and playing horseshoes.

Gary married Pat Hill Dec. 11, 1987.  She survives.  Also surviving are daughters:  Terry Beaugard and husband Chris, Jamie Young, 6 grandchildren:  Brendan, Luke, Quinn, Patrick Beaugard, Jaden Young, Maya Young, great-grandson:  Collin Beaugard, brothers:  Elry Phillips, Gary Shell, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, a brother at birth, as well as 5 brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.

Due to COVID the family has decided to have a memorial service at a later time.
