George Doty

George Ronald Doty, 86, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on March 15, 2020 at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
George was born on October 9, 1933 to the late Raymond and Mary Pearl (Spencer) Doty in Poplar Bluff.  He married Shirley (Reynolds) Doty on September 30, 1960, in Plano, IL.  She preceded him in death September 21, 2012.
George enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting and fishing.
George is survived by daughter, Janice Slavings; son, George R. Doty II; grandchildren: Jamey, Brian, Autumn, Nikita, George, and Anna; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Geri Long.  
George was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Doty and parents. 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2020 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 19th, 2020 at 12:00 PM in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home with Ron Fowler officiating. Burial will take place at Three Springs Cemetery.
