George Alexander Jameson

George Alexander Jameson, 83, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on April 21, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
George was born on December 31, 1939, to Roy and Emma Mae (Koch) Jameson in St. Louis, Missouri.  He married Sue Jameson, she preceded him in death March 13, 2018.
George Was retired from the Army National Guard and a Korean War vet, he enjoyed fishing, going to the movies, and he loved to read the Bible and spend time with his grandson.
George is survived by his son Zephry Jameson Grandson Xander Jameson, two brothers, Jerry Jameson and John Jameson and favorite niece Kathie Jameson (Johnson) and numerous nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by Wife, Sue Jameson, Mother and Father, Roy and Emma Jameson, along with brothers Richard, Robert, William Jameson, sisters Polly Pierce, Donna Jameson, Elizabeth Jameson, and Judy Jameson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27,2023, from 12-1PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Graveside services will begin at 2pm at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO., with full military honors.  Rev. David Tharp is officiating.
