Obituary

Hazel V. Kinder, 97, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on March 26, 2022, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Hazel was born on February 16, 1925, to John Washington and Maggie Lee (Finch) McPherson in Holland, Arkansas.  She married William (Vernon) Kinder in England, Arkansas.
Hazel and Vernon were married 57 years and Vernon, her schoolteacher in high school.  Vernon was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked and later returned to Pine Bluff, where they met again and later married.
Hazel was a home maker sewing for many people in the Poplar Bluff Community.  She enjoyed refinishing furniture and reupholstering. 
Hazel is survived by her sons Eddie Kinder and wife Peggy, Danny Kinder and daughter, Devona Kinder. She had nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents John and Maggie McPherson, husband Vernon, son Billy and grand-daughter Rebecca Beston.
The funeral was held on March 29 at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. 
Memorials can be made to:  St. Jude's and Shriner's Hospitals and DAV (Disabled American Veteran's)
