Henrietta Whitehorn, age 63, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Whitehorn was born July 9, 1949, at Caruthersville, Mo., to the late Henry and Mattie (Harris) Whitehorn. She was a former resident of St. Louis, Mo., but lived in Butler County for the past 27 years and worked at Gates Rubber Co. in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed her family, watching T.V. and going to church. She was a member of Lively Stone Church of God.
She is survived by three children, Rhonda Higgs, Tiffany Harris, and Lance Whitehorn; eight sisters, Mattie Griffin, Juanita Maxwell, Onietta Whitehorn, Gladys Hayes, Betty Sue Whitehorn, Cathaleen Jackson,Stella Hunt, and Florine Parson; two brothers, Larry Whitehorn and Charles Whitehorn; seven grandchildren, Dominique Higgs, Candace Higgs, Darius Higgs, Darian Higgs, Daliecia Harris, Jasmine Harris, and Kaleb Whitehorn; one great-grandchild, ZaMiyah Higgs.
Mrs. Whitehorn is also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Whitehorn and one grandchild, Dio Janay Higgs.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the funeral home chapel, with Elder Jeffery Price officiating. Burial in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
