James Bausworth

James “Jim” Bausworth, of Byrnes Mill, Missouri, was born March 26, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to James Bausworth and Wanda Murray (nee VanKirk) and entered into rest Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 71.

He is preceded in death by, his sister, Karen Murray-Steele

He is survived by, his loving wife, Paula Bausworth (nee Grobe)

His two sons: Chris Bausworth, Eric Bausworth and his wife Veronica.

Five (5) wonderful grandchildren: Emily, Ashley, Abigal, Melanie, and Josh

His dear mother, Wanda VanKirk-Murray

James “Jim” Bausworth, was a man who loved everyone and if you had the chance to know him, you’d loved him too. He was a hard worker and retired as a conductor from the Union Pacific Railroad in 2012. In is free time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. James was a family man and left his mark on so many of their hearts. He had a personality like no other and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, Missouri. An additional visitation will be held at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with graveside service to follow at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
