Jeannetta Ann (Gipson) Robinson

Jeanetta Ann Robinson was born November 27, 1948, in Poplar Bluff Missouri to the late George Gipson (GW) and Lorene Gipson (Norman)

Jeanetta went to school in Poplar Bluff and attended church at Central Baptist. She started working at Veterans Hospital in 1973 and she retired 50 years later. She enjoyed her time there and the people she worked with and thought of her as extended family.

Jeanetta loved cooking, eating her favorite food (Chinese), shopping, travel, going to social events, watching tv and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and child Michael Gipson, brothers: Lewis Gipson, Gordan Gipson, Larry Browning and George Browning

Jeanetta will be missed by all and leaves to cherish her memory: her sons Jeffrey Gipson, Scott Gipson her daughters-in-law Alanna Gipson and Tiffany Hughes, her grandchildren: Jaleel, Jordan, Justin, Svannah and her great-grand babies Tyson, Christopher, and Jameson.  Sisters: Ella Gipson, Patricia Browning, Sally Turner, Kim Williams, Pamela Gipson, Tammy Davis, Kimberly Dowdy, and Jennifer Blanton. Brothers: Mark Norman, Troy Powell, George Hunt, Stacy Gipson, and Forrest Gipson

Visitation will begin Saturday June 10, 2023, at 10am until service time at 11am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Tommy Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the City Cemetery.
