Jerry Wayne Barker

Jerry Wayne Barker, 72, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on September 12, 2022, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Jerry was born on November 2, 1949, to the late Barney and Eva (Anderson) Barker in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  He married Margaret Colter in 2016.  She survives.
Jerry attended Ellsinore Full Gospel Church and Church of God of Prophecy in Poplar Bluff.  Both congregations were special church family to Jerry.  Jerry had served his country in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed going to church, vintage Mustang cars, and Jerry was a dedicated, hard worker.  
Jerry is survived by wife Margaret; stepson Jesse Colter, grandson; Christopher Blake Coleman, brothers; Paul Barker and wife Brenda, Dennis Barker and wife Renda, Scotty Leroy Barker and wife Donna, as well as many nieces and nephews
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.  
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2022, from 12-1PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will begin at 1PM in the chapel with Pastor Kenny King officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Envelopes will be available at the service.
