Obituary

Karen Ann Stage, 74, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 20, 2022, at her home in Poplar Bluff.  
Karen was born on August 3, 1947, to Edwin and Thelda J. (Link) Winters in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  She married Gary Stage on September 12, 1965, in Poplar Bluff.  He preceded her in death Feb. 28,2015.  
Karen enjoyed gathering with her good friends at the Bear's Lodge (White House), gardening, Cardinal games, her dog, Willow and yard work.  Karen was a hairdresser for many years.
Karen is survived by daughter, Michelle Smith (Brian), granddaughter, Bailey Smith. sister, Carol Becker (Ed Barger), nephew, Brian Becker, niece, Amy Winters, 
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Stage, brother, Sterling 'Butch' Winters, 
Visitation will be held on Monday June 27,2022 from10-11am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  There will then be a short service at 12pm at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO
