Lacey Gainwell Jr

The late Lacey “Peter” Cornelius Gainwell Jr. was born July 27, 1957 in Yazoo City, MS to Magnolia Gainwell and the late Lacey C. Gainwell Sr.  He was called hone on November 6, 2020.

Peter worked for Purolator Industries until 1995 before moving to Columbia, MO and working for Kraft Foods until 2014.

Peter enjoyed spending time with family, watching the Cardinals baseball games, westerns, and the Food Network.

Peter was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Wallace, his father Lacey C. Gainwell Sr., two nephews Ray Clark Jr. and Deonte’ Gainwell.  He leaves to cherish all his memories his loving mother Magnolia Gainwell, his siblings Joyce “Ray” Clark of South Haven, MS, Mary Johns of Poplar Bluff, MO, James “Wanda” Gainwell of Auburn, AL, Janice Gainwell of Columbia, MO, Albert “Tammy” Gainwell of Columbia, MO and Alicia Gainwell of Columbia, MO a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

There will be a graveside service 11 am Friday, November 13, 2020 at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.

The funeral home does require the wearing of masks.
