Mary Joyce (Vinson) Kneir
Obituary
Mary Joyce Kneir, 89, of Williamsville, Missouri, entered the eternal gates of heaven on January 29, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. This was the moment Mary had waited for all of her life.
Mary was born on July 21, 1933, to William and Scena (Wingo) Vinson and was the youngest of twelve children. She enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, quilting, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Kneir, whom she married in Piggott, Arkansas on July 2, 1949, and who entered heaven on December 8, 2022, and an infant daughter, Shirley Earline. Mary is survived by her three children, Steven Kneir, Sandra (Bill) Garrett, and Joy (Kevin) Rafferty; five grandchildren, Kimberly Maher, Kasey Simpson, Sarena and Ashley Garrett, and Erin Rafferty; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, James H. Vinson.
Visitation will be Friday February 3, 2023, 12:30pm -1:30 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The GRAVESIDE service and burial will be at 10am Monday, February 6th at Black River Cemetery on JJ Hwy, Williamsville, MO
