Melvin "Bud" Mcintosh

Melvin "Bud" McIntosh, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. McIntosh was born on September 23, 1937 in Poplar Bluff to the late Aubrey and Lillie McIntosh. He was a lifetime resident of Poplar Bluff. Mr. McIntosh served in the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed fishing and having coffee with his buddies. On June 15, 1963 he married to Dorothy (Waters) McIntosh, in Fairdealing, Mo. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2000. He is survived by his children, one son, Royce Booth (Gaye) and two daughters, Belinda Rogers, and Tracy Ward (George). Also surviving are two sisters, Joann Frame and Carolyn Mohr; one brother, Raymond McIntosh, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his wife, Dorothy; one grandchild, Amanda Ward and son-in-law, Greg Rogers. Visitation will begin at 6p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 in the chapel with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with full military honors.
