Michael Jones Sr.

Michael Eugene Jones Sr 59,  passed away, after a lengthy illness, Monday 
June 21 , 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Michael was born on July 10,1961 in St. Louis, Mo. to Clarence Buril and
Charolette Marie Jones.
Michael was a devout, Godly christian man who made Jesus his Lord and Savior
in 2007, was baptized and was a member of The Little Brown General Baptist
Church for 14 years. He was a good father, loved his family, church family and 
closest friends, Kenny and Etah.
He was a faithful daily Bible reader, faithful to the Lord and to the church, loved
southern gospel music and singing, loved to travel was a hearty card and game
player, loved going to The Sight and Sound Theater in Branson, loved shopping
flea markets and auctions.
He is survived by one son Eric Lee Jones of Dexter, Mo., four brothers; Mark Jones
of Poplar Bluff Mo. Jackie Gann and wife Vicki of Poplar Bluff, Ronald Gann of
Poplar Bluff, Donald Gann and wife Lena of Poplar Bluff. A beloved aunt Barbara
Luck of Imperial Mo. His dearest and closest friend Kenny F. Durham of Poplar Bluff.
his dear friend Etah Durham of Blytheville Arkansas, other nieces, nephews, family
and church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence Buril Jones Jr. and Charolette
Marie Jones, a son Michael Eugene Jones, Jr. his grandparents Edward and Zelma
Grisham, Clarence B. Jones, Sr and Lucy E Lloyd Jones.
Visitation will begin on Friday June 25th at 12 noon at Fowler Sullivan Funeral Home
The funeral service will start at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel, with
Pastor Kenny Durham officiating. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery.
