Nancy Bach "Downey" Earley

Nancy Bach "Downey" Earley, 69, of Poplar Bluff,Mo. departed this life Monday December 12, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was a retired Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born July 12,1947 in Louisville, Ky, and formerly lived in Harviell.

She loved animals, spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, swimming, the outdoors, eating at Huddle House with her best friend Bev Ward. She was a member of Lifeline Church. She was a veteran of the U.S.Navy having obtained the rank of L.T.J.G. She served in Vietnam as a Navy nurse.

Survivors are her chidren Christina 'Tina' LeAnn Earley Woodard and husband Mark,of Poplar Bluff, Larry Trenton Earley Jr. and wife Sherry , of Poplar Bluff, and Katherine "Kathy"Nellie Jean Earley Dicken and husband Chris of Dumas Arkansas, two sisters , Susan Kiel and husband Paul, and Melinda Sepmeyer and husband Richard, all of Georgia; one brother, Melvin Reed Downey and wife Stephanie of North Carolina; her grandchildren: Brandon, Dalton, Rikki, Sara Lynn, Kala, Shelby, Hannah, Emma, John, Bailey, Aiden "A.J."Braxton, Bristal, Conner and Cassandra; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Gannon, Callie and Beau.

She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin Reed and Nellie Mae Downey.

Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. Thursday Dec.15 in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff Mo. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17,2016 in the J.C.Kirbey and Sons Funeral Home Chapel of Bowling Green Ky. Pastor Debbie Cassinger officiating, internment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Ky. Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville in charge of local arrangements.
