Pearlean Williams, 88, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 14,2021 at Cedargate Health Care in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Pearlean was born on May 30,1933 to Wash and Agnes (Washington) Williams in Earle, Arkansas.
Pearlean enjoyed being with her family, cooking, shopping and listening to gospel music. In fact, she used to be a member in the gospel group Faithful Travelers. Pearlean was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, for several years until moving to Benton Harbor, Michigan. She then joined Universal Spiritual Kingdom Truthful Life Church. She again, later moved back to Poplar Bluff where she joined New Life Ministries under Pastor Rice.
Pearlean was married to Hosea Taylor from 1953-1965, and the father of the children. He preceded her in death. She later then married Otis Williams and he preceded her in death.
Pearlean is survived by daughters, Bert Cassell and husband Silk, Rose Holeman, Ella Taylor, JoAnne Jones, step daughter; Yvonne Williams she raised as daughters, Daisy, Mary Ann, Ruthie, Margaret and ; grandchildren, Robert and Kevin Cassell, Attaria Taylor, Markette and Skyler Holeman, Christopher Williams, special grandchildren, Elivs Williams and Justin Griffin; great grandchildren; Jalen Cassell, Kristopher Kennedy, Ashton, Keon, Ryanne Cassell, Cohen Morrison, Camden Wilcoxon, Katara Cassell, Marico Strong Jr. sister, Rosie Williams, special friends, Peggy Melvin, Lynn Rush, Carolyn Price and Betty Flowers.
Pearlean was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, brothers; Jake Washington, Arthur Williams, Willie Williams, Walter Williams, Robert Williams, Wallace Williams, sisters; Sadie Youngblood and Georgia Kirby.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Rice officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
