Sally Mae (England) Hart passed away Friday, December 30, 2011, at her home. She was 68.
Mrs. Hart was born October, 4, 1943 in Cario, Illinois to parents, Jess and Nellie (Hathaway) England. She was a lifetime resident of Butler County and a member of the Stringtown Baptist Church. She was owner/operator of Hart's Catfish Restaurant. She enjoyed reading, painting, drawing, cooking and her pet dogs.
On June 24, 1961 she was married to Gene Hart, in Poplar Bluff. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Tina Daughhetee and Fiance', Shane; Shelly Goff and husband, Bob; Rachel Smith and husband, Brian and a foster son, Doug Fleigle and wife, Beth, all of Poplar Bluff; her brothers, George England, Fenton, Mo. and Donald England of Titusville, Florida; her best friend, Bonnie Medley and husband, Luther of Poplar Bluff; 9 grandchildren; Danielle Harris, Ashley Hill, Jesse Daughhetee, Josh Kidd, Avery Schiller, Trevor Goff, Tarah Goff, Laura Goff, and Catie Smith; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Nellie England; 3 sisters, Sherry England, Babara Maddux and Shirley Knuckles.
Visitation for Mrs. Hart will be at 5 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Burial in the Kinsey Cemetery.
