Thomas Staggs, 92 of Poplar Bluff went to his heavenly home, Sunday morning November 14, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Staggs was born August 29, 1918 in Keota Haskell, Oklahoma to the late Samuel H. Staggs and Pearlie T. Luster Staggs. He was a retired auto mechanic and member of Pentecostal Holiness Church in Poplar Bluff. His greatest passion was playing his harmonica at his church.
On August 18, 1972 he married Maxine "Mickey" Griffith in Las Vegas, Nevada and she survives.
He is also survived by many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nita Judd of Oklahoma and Jeanie Larson of California, and many nieces and nephews.
Thomas was a man who had a hurtful life, but he knew the One to turn to for answers and healing... his Savior Jesus Christ.
Mickey will greatly miss her friend.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday November 18, 2010 at Antioch Cemetery in Stigler, Oklahoma. Brother Lester Galbraith officiated
