Truman Eugene Ward, 85, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on August 10, 2020 at his home in Poplar Bluff.
Truman was born on September 3, 1934 to the late Eddie and Pearl Marie (Neal) Ward in Caruthersville, Missouri. He married the love of his life for over 40 years, Barbara (Sheridan) Ward on September 2, 1995, in Virginia City.
Truman was a over the road truck driver for over 40 years. He was a Mason for over 63 years, a member of the Eagles Lodge # 3730 for 40 years and the American Legion.
Truman not only enjoyed his family but enjoyed playing golf. He played on many different courses in the United States.
Truman is survived by his wife Barbara Ward, son Truman Martin Ward, son Roy Eugene Ward, daughter LaDeanna Glenn, grandchildren; Jamie Holcomb, Christina Ward, Brooke Glenn, Shawna Ward, Dylan Ward; several great- grandchildren, sister Glenda Fletcher and husband Jack.
Truman was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings and a great-grandchild Tayshon Matthews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 12, 2020 from 11 am to 1 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.
There will be a Masonic Service begin at 1 pm in the chapel, followed by the funeral service in the chapel with Larry Evans officiating. Burial will then follow in Antioch Cemetery in Oxly, Missouri.
