Violet (Brashear) Paynter

Violet Jewell Paynter, 60, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 03, 2021 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Violet was born on October 21, 1960 to John and Violet J. (Payne) Brashear in Dexter, Missouri.  She married Luther Paynter on February 14, 1996, he survives. Violet is also survived by son; Benny Cook, step sons, Chris and Ben Paynter, grandson, Lincoln Paynter, sister Debbie Foster, 5 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. Violet enjoyed reading and watching TV she was of the Pentecostal faith. Violet was preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Darwin Brashear and John Stokes. Visitation will be Thursday, October 7th, 2021 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Frances Brashear  officiating.
