Virna Lee Brawley. 77. of Doniphan, Mo. died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in her home.
She was born aug. 5, 1936, in Shook, Mo., and had also lived at Oxly, Mo. She was a homemaker and a memberof the Oxly United Pentecostal Church.
Mrs Brawley enjoyed her children, grandchidlren, sewing, gardening, her church, house plants and crafts.
She married Austin Murray and he preceded her in death. Then she married Ewing King Brawley and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her children, Rosemary McConnaughay and husband,Jim, of Oxly, Danny Murray and wife, Marie, of Doniphan, Regina "Renay" Rivas and husband, Rudy, of Oxly, Bill Murray and wife, Kandy, of Doniphan, James Murray and wife, Angela, of Doniphan and Paula Foulk and husband, Jason, of Big Timber, Mont.; two sisters, Vergie Nunn of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Vernell Luke of Williamsville, Mo.; two brothers, Virgil Osborn of Williamsville and Vernon Osborn of Poplar Bluff; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mary Gilbreath Osborn. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Oxly United Pentecostal Church. The funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the church with the Rev. Jeff McConnaughay officiating. Burial will be at Black Cemetery near Success, Ark.
