William Greer

William Greer, 58, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on August 31, 2022, at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. William was born on September 2, 1963, to Mary Jo Marler in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  He married Barbara Buck on March 10, 2017. William was an avid baseball card collector and loved his St. Louis baseball and hockey teams: The Cardinals and The Blues.  He also enjoyed all things Star Trek but most of all spending time with his family was his greatest passion. William is survived by the love of his life, Barbara Buck. Son: Sam Greer, Stepsons: Michael Buck and Matthew Buck. Mother-in-law: Tessie Wells, Sister: Laurie Thompson and husband Virgil, Sister-in-law: Nikki Strange and husband James, Brother-in-law: Bobby Wells and wife Jackie and many nieces and nephews. William is preceded in death by his mother: Mary Jo Marler, Grandfather: Alfred Joseph Cooley and Grandmother: Mary Alma Pinion. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 2nd, 2022.  Family at 10:30 am, Public starting at 11:00 am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff, Mo.  A memorial service will begin at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel.
